A thermoelectric automotive alternator of thermal and electric energy contains a source of thermal energy, hot and cold heat exchangers with heat-exchange fluid and thermoelectric modules located between them. The alternator is made in the form of sections located in a single housing, each of those contains two porous catalytic layers divided by gas distribution chamber. The hot radiators are located symmetrically with a space relative to catalytic plates. The hot side of thermoelectric modules has thermal contact with a hot radiator, and cold side - with liquid heat exchanger, which is hydraulically connected to the cooling system of the car. |
