<p>The hair straightening iron has a pair of lever arms (3,4) that are pivotally connected at one end and has a pair of electrically-heated plates (1,2) at the opposite ends. The plates are coated with ceramic crystal material. A projection (14) in one of the arms coincides with an aperture (15) in the other arm. A switch enables an ionizing circuit. An outlet (10) for negative ions, produced by the ionizing circuit, is located in an elevated position adjacent to one of the plates.</p> |
