PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic toner having very excellent low-temperature fixability while ensuring hot storage resistance and mechanical strength in an electrophotographic toner resin. SOLUTION: The toner uses as a binder a resin which is the reaction product of a hyperbranched polymer and a compound having one functional group per molecule and has a number average molecular weight of≥1,000 and a glass transition temperature of≥30°C.
