<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce respective images stored in a plurality of apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Images are stored, respectively, in a digital still camera 2, a memory card 3, and a DLNA server 4 connected simultaneously with a television receiver 1. In the television receiver 1, an image is acquired from a device being connected and the image thus acquired is displayed. When a user performs a predetermined operation while an image stored in a certain folder of a certain device is being displayed by shuffle reproduction, the shuffle reproduction is stopped, and images stored in the same folder as the image displayed at that operation are displayed sequentially by slide show reproduction starting from the top image.
