<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug-in connector which can be arranged on a substrate, is positioned on a flat surface of which an insertion direction extends parallel to a flat surface including the substrate, and can be sealed from an external. <P>SOLUTION: The plug-in connector is provided with a first connector housing part 16, and a contact element 17 provided in the first connector housing part 16 and including a rear part contact element end part 22 for soldering to the substrate 12 in a predetermined partial region 30. In a mounted state, the first connector housing part is arranged with respect to the substrate 12 so that the insertion direction 13 becomes parallel to the flat surface 15 including the substrate 12. In the flat surface 24 including the rear part contact element end part, the rear part contact element end part 22 is arranged on a side positioned on the substrate 12.
