<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic case of an electronic component in which a character and a pattern printed on an outer surface of the metallic case by laser irradiation can be clearly and visually recognized. <P>SOLUTION: The metallic case 2 of the electronic component 1 is formed of a metallic material, and used for an exterior of the electronic component 1 while an outer surface 3 thereof has an irregular, fine uneven shape. A base area 6 is formed of a plurality of first recesses 7 to be formed in a uniform depth through laser beam irradiation on at least a part of the outer surface 3. A character 4 and a pattern formed by irradiating laser beams are printed in the base area 6 by using second recesses 8 having the light reflection density different from that of the first recesses 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
