PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission chain with reduced managing labor and cost by suppressing an increase in the types of links when manufacturing the multiple sizes of chains, and also to provide a power transmission device. SOLUTION: The plurality of links 10, 11, 20 consist of two types of basic links 10, 11 different in pitch length, and an adjusting link 20 different in pitch length therefrom, used only in one place in every link train. The adjusting link 20 has a pitch length of L-(Na×Pa+Nb×Pb), where L is the total length of the chain, Na is the number of the link trains consisting of the basic links 10 each having a pitch length Pa, and Nb is the number of the link trains consisting of the basic links each having a pitch length Pb.
