PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a game machine provided with a new and rational fraudulent unlocking preventing mechanism. SOLUTION: The locking device 1 for the game machine comprises a receiving part 10 provided on the side of an outer frame 21, a locking part 4 provided on the side of a front frame 22 to be locked to the receiving part 10, and an unlocking mechanism 3 for unlocking the locking part 4 from the receiving part 10 in linkage with the lock shaft of a cylinder lock. The receiving part 10 is provided with an insertion hole 10a to which the locking part 4 is to be inserted and a falling preventing mechanism 17 to which the locking part 4 is locked to prevent the locking part 4 from falling out from the insertion hole 10a. The locking part 4 has a pair of locking pawls 4a and 4b tiltably provided on the side of the front frame 22, the unlocking mechanism 3 has a release pin 5 with a non-circular cross section provided between the pair of locking pawls 4a and 4b, and the release pin 5 is axially rotated in linkage with the lock shaft of the cylinder lock to make the interval of the pair of locking pawls 4a and 4b shorter in an unlocked state than that in a locked state and unlock the pair of locking pawls 4a and 4b from the falling preventing mechanism 17.
