摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that increases the amount of EGR gas without causing any malfunctions, in an exhaust gas recirculation system having exhaust passage groups where a reducing agent addition valve is arranged, and the exhaust passage groups to which EGR passage is connected, which are mutually independent. SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas recirculation system of internal combustion engine including first exhaust gas passage groups 3a, 3d, 30 where a reducing agent addition valve 12 is arranged, and second exhaust gas passage groups 3b, 3c, 31 to which EGR passage 9 is connected, there provided is communication means 13, 32 for mutually communicating the first exhaust gas passage groups 3a, 3d, 30 and the second exhaust gas passage groups 3b, 3c, 31, when demand for EGR execution occurs.
