An apparatus and a method for prompt mixing are provided to realize prompt mixing of chemicals through diffusion when inputting the chemicals into a pipeline, thereby improving the efficiency in treatment of water and achieving the mixing of chemical only through a mixing pipe instead of an exiting mixing pond. An apparatus for prompt mixing comprises a pipeline(10) in which raw water flows, and a prompt mixing type chemical input unit(30) is inserted into the pipeline. The prompt mixing type chemical input unit includes a chemical input body, which has one or all of a chemical supply pipe(32) for supplying chemicals therethrough, and a chemical injection tube, which is connected to the chemical supply pipe and additively connected to a plurality of chemical injection holes. |
