摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To autmatically extract a combination (correspondence) between a characteristic point of raster data and a characteristic point of vector data, which is conventionally performed by manual operation. SOLUTION: A block is formed by straight lines on a map to be positioned, intersection points of straight lines forming the block on two maps are respectively extracted as vertexes, the other vertexes excluding vertexes at which an angle formed by two line segments forming the extracted vertexes is an acute angle or an angle close to a straight line are extracted as characteristic points, combinations of three characteristic points are generated among the extracted characteristic points on the two maps, and a combination of characteristic points where triangles with respective three characteristic points as vertexes are almost similar on the two maps is extracted among the generated combinations.
