An automatic cylinder speed control system and an automatic cylinder speed control method using the same are provided to maintain constantly a driving speed of a cylinder as a proper speed by controlling automatically the driving speed of the cylinder. A cylinder(300) is operated by using air. A solenoid valve(100) is formed to supply the air to the cylinder in an electronic manner. An electronic variable speed controller(200) is installed between the cylinder and the solenoid valve and controls a driving speed of the cylinder in the electronic manner. The cylinder includes down, middle, and up sensors for sensing a position of a piston of the cylinder, and a timer for measuring the driving speed of the cylinder. A driving speed measuring process is performed to measure an on-point of the up sensor at an off-point of the down sensor through the timer.
