An impact absorption structure of a steering column for a vehicle is provided to improve impact absorption performance by providing a removable structure in an outer tube having a cutter and removing the removable structure by the cutter. An impact absorption structure of a steering column absorbing impact transmitted to a steering wheel of a vehicle, which comprises: an outer tube(110) provided with a cutter(111) of a hollow tube shape, an inner tube(120) inserted into the outer tube and provided with a rail(121) formed at a location corresponding to the cutter. A removable structure(122) is inserted into the rail and removed by the cutter.
