<p>A hands-free device (1) for use with communications devices (3) is provided. In response to operation of a particular user input, the hands-free device (1) causes the communications device (3) with which it is associated to call a particular number. Therefore a call to a particular number can be activated directly by a user via the hands-free device (1). The user input may comprise a dedicated or an existing button on the hands-free device (1). The button may be activated by a pre-determined operation such as a single activation of the button or by a sequence of activations. The particular number to be called may comprise an incoming number that has been stored in a memory of the hands-free device (1).</p> |
