A packing device for a rice ball is provided to improve the thermal bonding efficiency of a packing material by preventing the heat generated in a heating wire from being transferred to the upper and the lower body. A packing device includes a holder(130), an upper body(110), and a lower body(120). A folded packing material and a hollow portion capable of accommodating a rice ball between the folded portion of the packing material are formed in the holder. An upper guide groove(112) for accommodating the upper half of the holder is formed on the bottom surface of the upper body. An insulation groove is formed at the circumference of the upper guide groove. An upper insulation sheet(113) is inserted into the insulation groove. The lower body is attached to and separated from the upper body. A lower guide groove(121) for accommodating the lower half of the holder is formed on the upper surface of the lower body. A heating wire groove(122) is formed at the circumference of the lower guide groove. A lower insulation sheet(126) is inserted into the heating wire groove. A heating wire is formed at an upper portion of the lower insulation sheet. A lower release fabric(124) is formed at an upper portion of the heating wire.
