PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate attaching structure by which the reinstallation of a plate to a drum can accurately be performed in the plate attaching structure for attaching the sheetlike plate made of a metal to the cylindrical side surface-shape outer peripheral surface which is provided on the drum. SOLUTION: This plate attaching structure attaches a sheetlike plate 5 made of the metal onto the cylindrical side surface-shape outer peripheral surface which is provided on the drum 3. The plate attaching structure has a groove 23 which is provided on the outer periphery of the drum 3, a holding means which holds one end section of the plate 5 in the groove 23, and a pulling means 28. In this case, the pulling means 28 pulls the plate 5 by applying a force within the elastic limit to the plate 5 being held by the holding means in order to make the plate 5 closely stick to the drum 3.
