PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood magnetizing method which utilizes such a phenomenon that an iron material dissolved in an aqueous methane gas solution, automatically permeates/deposits in the wood as if a matter falls. SOLUTION: This method is employed to soak the iron material and the wood in the aqueous methane gas solution inside a closed container, then violently stir or vibrate the solution to cause the permeation and deposition of the eluted iron material inside the wood. Since this deposit has magnetic properties like the iron material as a raw material, it is possible to impart magnetic properties to the wood without providing a special treatment and impairing the appearance of the wood and nature of the wood main body.
