A mobile terminal and a method for setting up a PTT(Push To Talk) service are provided to conveniently execute a generic call service or a PTT service in a selected phone number, with simple manipulation. A mobile terminal comprises a display part(120), an input part(110), and a control part(140). The display part(120) displays a phone number management menu capable of selecting PTT service setup for a specific phone number. Also the display part(120) displays an icon or a label for the PTT service setup for a specific phone number at a side of the phone number management menu. The input part(110) is provided to select the PTT service setup of the specific phone number in the displayed phone number management menu. If the PTT service setup of the specific phone number is selected in the displayed phone number management menu, the control part(140) controls the PTT service of the specific phone number.
