PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment enabling a large amount of hitch at the engagement section of a cover made of elastomer. SOLUTION: The portable electronic equipment has the cover 5 that is made of the elastomer and covers an opening formed on the side of an equipment case 13. In the equipment case 13, the engagement section 8 is provided for maintaining the cover 5 to be fitted into the opening when the cover 5 is fitted into the opening. The engagement section 8 at the equipment case 13 is composed of another member that is lubricating much more than the equipment case 13.
