PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease in discharge capacity and increase in internal resistance by sticking a winding stop adhesive tape in a position not decreasing the facing area of a negative electrode plate and a positive electrode plate, and also to prevent peeling off of the winding stop adhesive tape. SOLUTION: In the outermost periphery of a spiral electrode group 10, a part of the negative electrode plate 11 is exposed and comes in contact with the inner surface of an outer can, an extended margin part 13a of an inside separator 13 extended from a winding terminal part 12a of the positive electrode plate 12 and arranged on the inner peripheral side in the winding direction of the positive electrode plate 12 and an extended margin part 14a of an outside separator 14 arranged on the outer peripheral side in the winding direction of the positive electrode plate 12 are arranged, and sticking starting parts of the winding stop adhesive tapes 15, 16 become the extended margin part 13a of the inside separator 13.
