PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely measure viscosity even in the case where the viscosity of a flowable specimen is low. SOLUTION: The portable viscometer comprises: a drive part; a first rotating body rotated by driving the drive part; a second rotating body rotated by being driven in keeping with the rotation of the first rotating body; a first viscosity detection element rotated in keeping with the rotation of the second rotating body; a second viscosity detection element disposed so that it can contact with or part from the first viscosity detection element; and a biasing member disposed so as to rectilinearly extend between the first and second rotating bodies. Since the biasing member is disposed so as to rectilinearly extend between the first and second rotating bodies, viscosity is surely detected even in the case where the viscosity of the flowable specimen is low.
