The subject of the present invention is a hybrid material containing foam ed polymer- inorganic binder having controlled density and morphology, in pa rticular a hybrid containing foamed polyurethane- inorganic binder, a method for the preparation of the same and its uses. Said material has high charac teristics of thermal and acoustic insulation, water vapour breathability, fi re resistance, lightness, as well as a good adhesiveness to concretes, morta rs and plasters and a good compression resistance.
