Auxiliary drive device for manual wheelchairs

The device has drive wheel, a drive motor, a steering device (6) and fastening element (210) for docking at a wheel chair (600). A stroke mechanism is designed in addition to move a drive wheel in the docking condition vertically opposite to the wheelchair such that the two tilted carrying wheels (602) of the wheelchair are raised. The auxiliary drive is ready for operation when the drive wheel has maximum lowered position.
