An attaching apparatus for an U shape object is provided to save laborer, and to improve quality and reliability by attaching tapes to the U shaped portion by mechanical process. An attaching apparatus for an U shape object comprises: a rolling device(100), two roller arm, a spring provided to the roller arm so as to push the two roller arms, a mounting die(300) for the rolling device and a tape adsorption unit, a tape adsorption unit(200), a rotation drive device(310) provided at the side surface of the mounting die, a moving device(400), a tape supplying device(600) for automatically supplying tapes of a predetermined amount and a controller(900). The rolling device includes a compression spring for pushing a pressing head through a connection rod. The roller arms are fixed to the rolling device rotatably by a roller arm shaft. The rolling device is provided at the front of the mounting die. The tape adsorption unit is mounted on the rear of the mounting die and includes a compression drive device for driving the tape adsorption unit back and forth. The rotation drive device is provided at the end of the moving device. The controller controls and drives a compression drive device, the rotation drive device, moving device and an air pressure device(800) sequentially or simultaneously.
