PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a candidate route to be searched along which periodic round trips are carried out from a start point to a destination by using transport facilities, and which concurrently satisfies conditions required for outward and homeward trips. SOLUTION: A route searching system 10 is provided with: an operating/inputting means 27 for setting a route searching condition; route searching network data 35 including transport network data 37 for searching a route along which the transport facilities are used; a route searching means 33; and a guidance route extracting means (e.g., route comparing means 38). The start point, the destination and clock time conditions of the outward and homeward trips which are input by the operating/inputting means 27, are set as the route searching condition. The route searching means 33 searches a plurality of candidate routes for the outward and homeward trips or one of them, based on the route searching condition. The route extracting means extracts the candidate route which concurrently satisfies the time clock conditions set for the outward and homeward trips, and uses it as a guidance route.
