A control program that is capable of appropriately controlling a culture apparatus, realizing continuous culturing; and a culture apparatus that is capable of monitoring cell division rate, expression of arbitrary gene, etc. There is provided a control program for causing a computer to function as: means for reading and recording any measured value from a cell concentration sensor; means for in advance recording set value data of cell concentration; means for comparing the set value data with the measured value and transmitting to a culture medium supply unit such control signals that when the set value is higher, a culture medium is fed to a culture solution while the set value is lower, feeding of the culture medium is discontinued; and means for recording the amount of culture medium fed.
