PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate designing of an external shape opposed to a front panel having a disk insertion slot of a disk drive device formed therein in addition to a square shape. SOLUTION: This disk drive device is provided with a clamp arm 11 for clamping a disk D inserted from the disk insertion slot 4 of the front panel 3 of the disk drive device 1 on a turntable 6 by a clamper 13, and the attaching part 11a of the clamp arm 11 to a chassis 2 are arranged on the front panel 3 side by a pair of left and right rotation support points 12.
