摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a structure for improving the strength of a welding joint capable of performing the thermal spraying of a material containing substantially equal components to those of a base material at normal temperature taking into consideration that thermal-sprayed zinc is are possibly cracked, or the strength of the welding joint cannot be sufficiently improved by the effect of the heat re-input in a welding part in a method for executing the zinc thermal spraying, the additional welding or the like to a weld reinforcement toe in order to improve the strength of the welding joint. SOLUTION: A covering layer 6 is formed on a weld reinforcement toe part 5 of a welding reinforcement part 4 formed by the welding through the execution using the high frequency arc thermal spraying. A metal containing substantially equal components to those of a base material is used for a thermal spraying material. Since the high frequency arc thermal spraying can be executed in a supercooled state, the execution can be performed in a state close to that at normal temperature. Further, since the thermal spraying of galvalium composition is possible, a pseudo alloy can be thermal-sprayed, and the fatigue strength of the welding joint can be efficiently improved as much as possible by selecting the material.
