RESIN COMPOSITION AND MERCHANDISE HOUSING TRAY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin composition comprising PBS (polybutylene succinate) as a main constituent, to provide a resin sheet for a molded product composed of the resin composition and to provide a biodegradable merchandise housing tray produced by vacuum pressure or vacuum forming the sheet.

SOLUTION: The biodegradable polylactic acid-containing polybutylene succinate resin composition is prepared by uniformly melt kneading polybutylene succinate having 85-115°C melting point and polylactic acid as resin components and is characterized in that the content of the polylactic acid in the whole resin is≥0.01 to <10 mass%. The resin sheet for the molded product is obtained by melt extruding the resin composition. A resin laminated sheet for the molded product is prepared by laminating the resin sheet to a resin film. The biodegradable merchandise housing tray is obtained by forming the resin sheet or resin laminated sheet by a vacuum pressure or a vacuum forming machine.
