<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that data are sometimes destroyed and a fault (error code output) occurs by power interruption during write to a readable and writable nonvolatile memory device (HDD, SRAM, FRAM or FLASH or the like), inconsistency among two or more pieces of data occurs when the data in the middle of write are just abandoned, and there is the possibility that they can not be restored. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The area of a nonvolatile memory is subdivided to shorten parity calculation time. (2) A write area is saved before writing actual data to prepare for power interruption.
