A method for improving a grass stand of a cultured pasture includes sowing grasses of awnless brome grass, meadow fescue grass, perennial ryegrass and creeping trefoil. Close to the stated grasses 10-12% of fields of perennial drought-resistant plants (cup plant, Jerusalem artichoke, burnet salad) with a large reserve of leaves, suitable for quality feeding of animals in periods of decrease of the productivity of the main pasture grass stand are sown additionally on the area of the pasture, fields of these plants as bands of 4-5 m in width and 15-20 m in length are arranged along the entire territory of the pasture by the checkerboard order or other method. |
