PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiving unit or the like for enabling a viewer to properly select a program on a different channel by displaying not only a program guide on a different channel but also a video which is being viewed at present and the program on a different channel in the case of acquiring the information of the program on a different channel. SOLUTION: A program is output from a video signal processing part 60 and a voice signal processing part 70 through a decoder part 20 based on a television broadcast signal received by a first tuner part 10. Also, program information extracted from the television broadcast signal is processed by an EPG processing part 40, and stored in an EPG storage part 50. In this case, when a program on a different channel button is selected, the program guide on a different channel is displayed, and the selected program on a different channel is received from a second tuner part 15, and output through the decoder part 20 to the video signal processing part 60.
