A steer-by-wire-type steering system of a vehicle is provided to improve driving comfort by preventing relative displacement between the steering shaft and a pinion shaft from being generated by locking a steering shaft when power of the vehicle is turned off. A steer-by-wire-type steering system of a vehicle including an input device unit controlling steering inputted from a driver and an output device unit outputting steering to a wheel, comprises: a steering shaft(102) connected with a steering wheel(101), a steering angle sensor(301) sensing a rotation angle of the steering wheel, a torque sensor(121) sensing a steering torque of the steering shaft, an electronic control device(123) receiving electric signals from the steering angle sensor and the torque sensor and controlling, respectively a motor(303) and a locking protrusion inserting a locking groove formed in the steering shaft acts by a solenoid(305).
