ANTIBACTERIAL ARTIFICIAL MARBLE COMPOSITION HAVING GOOD SANDING PROPERTY

A composition for artificial marble stone is provided to realize excellent antibacterial, deodorizing, far infrared ray-emitting and sanding properties as well as mechanical properties, and to obtain artificial marble stone having unique appearance while maintaining transparency. A composition for artificial marble stone comprises: (a) 100 parts by weight of acrylic resin syrup; (b) 1-20 parts by weight of amethyst powder having a particle size of 5-90 micrometers; (c) 100-200 parts by weight of an inorganic filler; and (d) 0.1-10 parts by weight of a polymerization initiator. The composition optionally further comprise 0.1-500 parts by weight of crushed artificial marble stone having a size of 0.1-10 mm, and/or 1-30 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent.
