<p>The method involves determining gas pressure that prevails during work cycle in a combustion chamber (14) using a pressure transducer (32). A reference pressure signal is determined based on actual operating parameters of an internal combustion engine (10). The reference pressure signal is compared with measured pressure signal of the transducer to verify likelihood of the measured signal. An Independent claim is also included for a control/regulation apparatus for an internal combustion engine.</p> |
