<p>A method of controlling an emergency drive mode of an air conditioner by using an emergency drive mode operating unit of an indoor unit is provided to allow a user to alter the pre-inputted room temperature even in the emergency drive mode and to find and use the emergency drive mode operating unit easily by installing a pressing button on an outer surface of the air conditioner and by pushing and holding down the pressing button until the room temperature changes to the desired temperature. A method of controlling an emergency drive mode of an air conditioner by using an emergency drive mode operation unit of an indoor unit comprises the steps of: pushing a pressing button installed on an outer surface of a main body of the air conditioner(S10); and changing the preset room temperature by holding down the pressing button for a predetermined period of time in order to change the preset room temperature by one degree Celsius per few seconds, and maintaining the inputted room temperature when the pushed button is released(S40).</p> |
