A heat pump type heating/cooling system is provided to integrally connect an auxiliary heat exchanger, a bypass pipe and a refrigerant temperature sensor to each other for achieving heating/cooling operation in the extremely cold/warm season. A heat pump type heating/cooling system includes a compressor(1), a 4-way valve(2) for converting refrigerant paths according to heating/cooling operation, a temperature sensing element(4) mounted at a refrigerant inlet part of a liquid separator(3), indoor/outdoor heat exchangers(5,6), indoor/outdoor blowers(7,8), an expansion valve(9) of a rectifying circuit, four check valves(10-13) mounted in parallel, a receiver(15) mounted with an electronic valve(14), electronic valves(16,17) closed in the case of defrosting operation, and an auxiliary heat exchanger(18), a bypass pipe(19) and a refrigerant temperature sensor(20) integrally connected to each other.
