HARNESS

A harness (1) comprising : a pad (2) adapted to fit around at least a rear portion of the waist of a wearer,- at least one anchoring means 1(22,23) located towards the rear of the exterior of the pad; a front waist strap (5); right and left leg straps (12, 13), each of which leg straps is separately connected to the front waist strap (5),- a right connecting strap (8), slideably connected to the right leg strap; a left connecting strap (9), slideably connected to the left leg strap,- right (6) and left (7) linking elements located on either side of the pad (2) towards the front of the exterior of the pad (2), to which the front waist strap (5) is connected at either side and through which the respective connecting straps (8,9) slideably pass, wherein the right connecting strap ( 8) passes around the exterior right side of the pad to an anchoring means (22, 23) at which it is adjustably fastened and the left connecting strap passes around the exterior left side of the pad to an anchoring means (22, 23) at which it is adjustably fastened.
