<p>Various exemplary systems and methods for promoting nerve regeneration are disclosed. In certain exemplary embodiments, a nerve regeneration system may include a lead configured to be placed in a body proximate a damaged nerve, a portion of the lead being configured to stimulate the damaged nerve. The system may also include a control module configured to monitor a signal indicative of the nerve's response to the stimulation and adjust a parameter of the stimulation in response to the monitored signal.</p>
