An opening/closing device for increasing elastic power for a portable terminal is provided to increase elastic power as reducing displacement by using plural tension springs as power sources for automatically opening or closing a sub body, thereby increasing elastic power of the opening/closing device as improving durability. The first plate(10) is fixed to a main body. The second plate(20) is combined in a sliding way as being parallel to the first plate, is equipped with a cam profile, and is fixed to a sub body. A fixed lever(40) is fixed to the first plate. A slide lever(50) is surface-contacted with the fixed lever, and is put to advance or retreat toward the cam profile. More than one of tension springs(60) generate elastic power to make the slide lever advance toward the cam profile. A roller(70) is installed to be axially rotated on the slide lever, and rotates by being contacted with the cam profile.
