A debugging system and a method thereof are provided to execute debugging even in a disconnection state by effectively maintaining a brake point for a target device even though the connection between the target device and a debugging device is removed. A debugging system consists of a debugging device(300) and a target device(400). The debugging device(300) sets a permanent brake point to the target device(400) in a connection state with the target device(400). If the brake point is driven when the connection with the debugging device(300) is released, the target device(400) comes to a standstill. The debugging device(300) starts the debugging of the target device(400) from the standstill state.
