New method for synthesis N-alkyl and N, N-dialkyl-O-alkyltiocarbamates of general formula (I) wherein R1, represents ethyl or isoprpyl group, and R1 ethyl, propyl and isopropyl group, is characterized according to this invention by that : alkyldixanthogenate (II) wherein R, represents ethyl or isopropyl grooup, reacts with primary or secondary amines of general formula (III) wherein R, represents ethyl, propyl or isopropyl group, in the presence of natrium hipochlorites as catalysts (IV) when molecular ratio thereof is 1:2:1, in water as a solvent and at the temperature from 25 to 45°C.
