The shut off slide for pipes (10) through which materials flow under pressure has a spindle (9) on which a slide (6) is mounted. This can be moved into a housing (12) fitted with seals (13 - 15) to seal off the flow. The spindle is mounted in a second housing (1) which is separated from the flow of material by the seals. |
