PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop antenna that can be utilized as an unbalanced antenna to which a microstrip line used in general by a high frequency circuit and an unbalanced line such as a coaxial cable can feed power and that can obtain a sufficient broadband characteristic. SOLUTION: In the loop antenna 1 formed by providing a feeding means 3 to a loop-shaped conductor, a tapered conductor 2 with a uniform thickness is adopted for the loop-shaped conductor and ends 2a, 2b whose widths or opposed areas differ from each other are connected to the feeding means 3 to configure the whole as the loop shape.
