<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation device having good air quantity-pressure characteristic performance by suppressing a flow peeling phenomenon which is caused by transformation of a flow at an intake port (an air flow in which the flowing direction suddenly changes by 90°), when an obstacle such as a decorative plate is present in the front of the intake port, to reduce pressure loss and eddy loss, and moderating a turning flow induced by an impeller. <P>SOLUTION: This ventilation device comprises an axial flow fan 7 including a rotating motor 1 and an impeller 2, a circular intake port 4 opened in the front surface of a main body part 3, a decorative plate 5 set with a space from the front surface of the main body part 3 so as to cover the front surface of the main body part 3, guide plates 6 disposed at uniform intervals in the space radially reversely to the rotating direction of the impeller, and a suction port 8 formed by the outer periphery of the front surface of the main body part 3 and the outer periphery of the decorative plate 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
