PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new anticancer agent for ameliorating the prognosis of patient since the effect of a conventional anticancer agent is not sufficient due to problems of occurrence of adverse effect, etc. SOLUTION: The anticancer agent comprises a pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine derivative represented by general formula (1) (X and Y are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a heterocycloalkyl group, an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, a lower alkoxy group, a lower alkylthio group or a cyano group; n is an integer of 1-3), its hydrate, its solvate or its pharmacologically acceptable salt as an active ingredient.
