<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip mounted on a front pillar part with favorable appearance outside a cabin and good sealing performance capable of preventing water intrusion into a hinge part. <P>SOLUTION: This weather strip including a hollow seal portion mounted on the door body of a vehicle for elastically contacting a body panel, and two lips, an outer lip 6 for elastically contacting the body panel on the vehicle outside nearer than the hollow seal part and a back lip 5 for elastically contacting the inner surface of the door body, forms a gap 8 in a grooved shape between the outer lip 8 and the back lip 5. Also this weather strip is provided with a dam 7 for elastically contacting the side surface on the vehicle inner side of the back lip 5 and forming the gap 8 with the side surface on the vehicle outside of the outer lip 6 between the back lip 5 and the outer lip 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
