<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high quality image by indicating a TC value actually measured about each of lens arrays and positioning to fix the lens arrays by reading the indicated TC values. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed a method for manufacturing the LED print head comprising a board having a plurality of LED elements mounted thereon, a base having the board fixed thereto, and each lens array through which a light from the LED element is passed. In the method of manufacturing, the TC value is indicated on the lens array 3, the lens array 3 is correctedly positioned to the base 1 having the board 2 fixed thereto according to the TC value, and then the lens array 3 is fixed to the base 1. The fixing of the lens array to the base can be carried out such that each of the base and the lens array is coated with an adhesive after positioning the lens array to the base, or the base and/or lens array is coated with the adhesive before positioning the lens array to the base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
