<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head motion tracker capable of calculating a moving position and moving angle of the head of a passenger by measuring a moving position and a moving angle of an optical marker precisely also when detecting a ray at a place where illuminance fluctuation is large. <P>SOLUTION: The head motion tracker 1 is provided with the optical marker 7, an optical detecting means 2 for detecting the ray from the optical marker 7, and a relative head information calculation part 22 for calculating relative head information including a head position and head angle of the passenger 3 with respect to a mount body 30. The tracker is provided with an optical marker driving part 28 for having the optical marker 7 repeatedly switching on and off and a differential generation part 23 for generating differential data by comparing switch-on data and switch-off data.
