<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable organopolysiloxane composition for a solar cell, which prevents decrease in translucency and insulation properties caused by photodegradation of the solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: The curable organopolysiloxane composition for the solar cell contains a silylated organopolysiloxane and a condensation catalyst, provided that the silylated organopolysiloxane is represented by the average formula: R<SP>1</SP><SB>a</SB>(OX)<SB>b</SB>SiO<SB>(4-a-b)/2</SB>(wherein multiple R<SP>1</SP>s are each independently a 1-6C alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group; X is a combination of a group represented by the formula: -SiR<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>R<SP>4</SP>(wherein R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group) and a 1-6C alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkoxyalkyl group, an acyl group or two or more of these groups; a is a number ranging from 1.00-1.5; and b is a number satisfying the relation: 0<b<2, provided that a+b satisfies the relation: 1.00<a+b<2) and has a weight average molecular weight calculated in terms of polystyrene of 5×10<SP>4</SP>or larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
